Our First Annual Mamba Monday Was a HIT! 🏀
Wilson Scholars showed up in their Laker gear and Mamba-inspired spirit as we celebrated our first annual Mamba Monday!
What is Mamba Monday?
Mamba Monday is a special day where we celebrate hard work, perseverance, dedication, and the courage to keep pushing forward—values inspired by Kobe Bryant's Mamba Mentality.
What is Mamba Mentality?
Mamba Mentality is about having a growth mindset: embracing challenges, learning from mistakes, staying focused on your goals, and always striving to become better.

Character trait for August/September
Early College
High school students can take college courses and earn credit toward their degree while still enrolled in SAUSD.
Early Childhood Education
Programs are available for children as young as age 2, providing a strong start for lifelong learning.
SAUSD Arts
Students explore creativity through music, dance, theater, and visual arts programs that enrich learning and expression across all grade levels.
STEAM Education
Students engage in hands-on learning that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to build creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
21st Century Career Academies
Real-world experience comes to life through themed academies that connect classroom learning with career pathways in health care, business, engineering, and other in-demand fields.

Los estudiantes de último año de SAUSD deben completar la FAFSA 2027–2028 o la Solicitud de la Ley Dream de California (CADAA), o presentar un formulario de exclusión, para cumplir con los requisitos de graduación de California y tener acceso a las oportunidades de ayuda financiera disponibles.

SAUSD SENIORS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS BY MARCH 2, 2027
SAUSD seniors must complete the 2027–2028 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA), or submit an opt-out form, to meet California graduation requirements and access available financial aid opportunities.

SAUSD Honors September 2026 Employees of the Month
The Santa Ana Unified School District recognized two outstanding staff members as Employees of the Month for September 2026.
The Certificated Employee of the Month is Dawn Aguila, K–12 Teaching and Learning. The Classified Employee of the Month is Roberto Quintero, Painter II in Maintenance and Operations.
Both were recognized for their dedication, expertise, reliability, and commitment to supporting students, educators, staff, and the District community.
